Smoked/Infused Colour variation is a natural tone reaction due to the sapwood and grain density within any plank. Colour variation is a prevalent aspect of smoked infused floors. This is a natural aspect of a smoked floor and is included within the grade and the flooring supplied.
In any natural wood flooring, you'll find natural color variations caused by differences in the sapwood and grain density. This means that individual planks can range from light to dark, which is a common and expected feature of the flooring and is included within its grade.
A bowing limit of 1.5% of the plank length is often considered acceptable. For instance, a plank of 1850mm length should ideally bow no more than 27.75mm (+/- 10%)
